About

Tuğba Bahadır is a Warsaw-based Turkish artist whose relationship with painting began in childhood and has developed into a distinctive contemporary practice rooted in hyperrealist oil painting. Her work brings together the human figure, natural forms, stone surfaces and tactile materials, creating compositions defined by precision, texture and a strong sense of material presence.

Drawing inspiration from the physical qualities of nature, Bahadır has developed a distinctive visual language through her studies of stone, rock textures and layered surfaces. Her figurative works explore the relationship between realism and perception, often contrasting the solidity of natural materials with the delicacy and vulnerability of the human form.

Across her collections, she continues to investigate texture, form and materiality as central elements of the painted image. By transforming natural structures into part of the visual narrative, her work creates a dialogue between the organic and the human, the tangible and the perceived. Bahadır continues to expand her practice through new bodies of work and international exhibitions.
